Nissi Beach
Ayia Napa's famous white-sand beach, where a sandbar wades out to a small islet through shallow turquoise water.

Nissi means "island", after the low islet just offshore. At most times you can wade across the sandbar, waist-deep at most, which makes for a memorable swim.
In high summer Nissi is lively, with beach bars and music. Outside July and August it becomes a much calmer, very beautiful stretch of sand.
Good to know
It is organised with lifeguards in season. For a quieter visit, go in June or September.
