Mackenzie Beach
A lively sandy beach south of Larnaca centre, known for its clear water, beachfront promenade and planes gliding in low to land.

Mackenzie stretches along the coast towards Larnaca airport. Its sand and gently shelving water make it a favourite with locals, and it has repeatedly earned Blue Flag status.
Planes on final approach pass overhead, which keeps plane-spotters happy. A seafront path links it with the town centre.
Good to know
It is organised with lifeguards and sunbeds in summer. Weekends get busy, and weekdays are calmer.
