Baths of Aphrodite
A shaded grotto pool fed by a spring, where legend says Aphrodite bathed. It is also the starting point for the Aphrodite and Adonis nature trails.

A short paved path from the car park leads through the botanical garden to a small pool under a fig tree and overhanging rock. Myth tells that Aphrodite bathed here and met Adonis. Today it is a cool, green stop on the edge of the Akamas.
Swimming in the pool is not allowed, but the site is the trailhead for the circular Aphrodite trail, which climbs for sea views over Chrysochou Bay.
Good to know
The grotto itself takes about 15 minutes. Allow 2–3 hours if you add the Aphrodite trail.
