Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Cyprus Perks is operated by FLOWBRICKS LTD, 95 E. Venizelou, Office 102, 8026 Anavargos, Paphos, Cyprus (company registration number HE 496317, VAT number CY60388653T, hello@flowbricks.ltd) — "we" or "us" in these terms.

2. What Cyprus Perks is

Cyprus Perks is a membership for Cyprus. Members hold a pass and can use perks that local businesses ("partners") offer to pass holders, for example two-for-one drinks or a free extra. The guide with places worth visiting can be used without an account. We arrange the perks; the goods and services themselves are provided by the partners.

3. Who may use Cyprus Perks

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, buy a pass or list a business. By signing in you confirm that you are. Each person may have one member account.

4. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. Keep access to your email account secure, because anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Tell us at hello@flowbricks.ltd if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Account → Delete account.

5. Fair use

Please use Cyprus Perks as intended. In particular, you may not:

• let another person use your pass or account, or redeem perks for someone else;
• redeem a perk without being at the partner's venue, or show a screenshot or recording instead of the live app;
• post ratings or comments that are false, offensive, discriminatory, advertising, or that contain other people's personal data;
• interfere with the service, access it automatically (scraping) or try to get around its limits.

If you break these rules, we may remove content, suspend or close the account, or end a pass. Where a pass is ended because of a serious breach, the price is not refunded; any statutory rights remain unaffected.

6. Ratings and comments

You can rate places you have marked as visited and add a short comment. You remain responsible for what you write and give us a free, non-exclusive licence to publish, translate and display it within Cyprus Perks for as long as it is online. Comments are checked before publication; we may decline or remove them, in particular if they break section 5. Averages are shown only once a place has at least five ratings.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Cyprus Perks available and up to date, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, for example during maintenance or outages beyond our control. We may develop the service further, for example by adding or changing features, as long as the essential features of a pass you have bought are kept.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law provides for liability. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential obligation of the contract, and then limited to the damage typically foreseeable when the contract was made. The partners are responsible for their own goods and services, including their quality, safety and compliance with the law; we are not liable for them, but we will help you if something goes wrong with a perk. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

9. Passes

• The Annual pass is valid from activation until 31 December, 23:59 Cyprus time, of the year in which it is activated.
• The Tourist pass is valid for 7 days from activation.
• You can hold one active pass at a time. A pass is personal and cannot be transferred.
• Passes do not renew automatically and do not turn into a subscription.
• Prices are shown in euros including VAT before you buy.

10. The free week

People on our launch list receive a free Tourist pass for 7 days when the app launches. It is limited to one per person, requires only an account, no payment details, and ends automatically after 7 days without any cost or renewal. We may end the offer for new sign-ups at any time; free weeks already announced to you remain valid.

11. Perks and how to use them

Each perk can be used once per pass unless the perk says otherwise. A perk applies only within the days, times and season shown in the app and under the conditions stated with it. To use a perk, show the app to the partner's staff at the venue and slide to redeem it in front of them.

Partners commit to their live perks until 31 December of each year, so the perks you see are meant to stay. A perk can nevertheless become unavailable, for example if a venue closes, changes owner or a partner leaves Cyprus Perks for an important reason. We do not promise a particular number of partners or perks. Savings shown in the app are the partner's estimate of the typical value and are not guaranteed.

Perks involving alcohol are available only where the law allows, and the partner may ask for identification. Partners may refuse a perk in case of misuse.

12. Payment

The price is due when you buy the pass and is paid through our payment service provider Stripe, with the payment methods offered at checkout. The contract is concluded when we confirm the purchase on screen and by email.

13. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase of a pass within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise it, send us a clear statement (for example by email to hello@flowbricks.ltd or by post to FLOWBRICKS LTD, 95 E. Venizelou, Office 102, 8026 Anavargos, Paphos, Cyprus). You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. Sending the statement before the period ends is enough.

If you withdraw, we refund all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days, using the same means of payment you used, unless we expressly agree otherwise. You will not be charged any fees for the refund.

If you asked for the pass to start during the withdrawal period, you pay an amount proportionate to what has been provided until you tell us of the withdrawal, measured against the full contract.

When you activate a pass before the 14 days are over, you expressly request that the service begins immediately and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once the contract has been fully performed, that is, when the pass period has ended.

14. Listing a business

Listing a business is free; we charge no commission on perks. You create the listing in the partner panel and submit it for review. We may approve it, ask for changes or decline it, in particular if it does not fit Cyprus Perks or the details are incomplete or incorrect. The partnership runs for the calendar year and ends on 31 December; you can continue it each year.

15. Your obligations as a partner

• Your details, opening hours, photos and perks must be accurate and kept up to date.
• You hold all licences and permissions your business needs and comply with the law, including on alcohol, consumer protection and tax.
• You give every member with a valid pass the perk as published, within its stated days, times and conditions.
• You have the rights to the photos and texts you upload and give us a free, non-exclusive licence to publish, adapt, translate and display them on our website, app and in our marketing for the duration of the partnership and a reasonable period after it.
• You treat members' data you come across only for providing the perk.

16. Perks are committed for the calendar year

Members choose their pass because of the perks they see. Once a perk is live, it is therefore committed until 31 December of that year: you can add new perks at any time, but you cannot remove, pause or reduce a live perk — including its title, type, discount, typical saving, conditions, how often it can be used and when it applies — until then. Wording that does not change the deal, the description and photos can be updated at any time. From 1 January you can change or replace perks for the new year.

If an important reason makes a perk impossible, such as the closure of the venue, contact us; we will find a solution together. The commitment does not apply to perks that were never live.

17. Ending a partnership

You can end the partnership with effect from the end of the calendar year by telling us in writing. We can end it with effect from the end of the calendar year, and immediately for an important reason, in particular if perks are not honoured, details are deliberately false, or members are treated unfairly. We may remove or hide a listing while we look into a complaint.

18. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for valid reasons, such as new features or changes in the law. We will tell you about changes in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before then; passes already bought keep the terms that applied when you bought them.

19. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there as well as in Cyprus. We are not obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body and do not do so voluntarily; please write to us first, and we will try to find a solution.
