The Caledonia nature trail follows the Kryos stream through alder, pine and plane trees, crossing the water many times on stepping stones and small bridges. The waterfall drops roughly 12 metres into a cool, mossy pool.

The full trail runs about 3 km between the Troodos area and Platres. The waterfall sits near the lower end, so a short out-and-back walk is enough to see it.

Good to know

The path is rocky and can be slippery. Flow is strongest from late winter to early summer.
