The Shacolas Tower rises over Ledra Street, the busy shopping lane through the old town. From the observatory on its upper floors you can see the whole walled city, the minarets and cathedral towers of the north, the Green Line and the Kyrenia range beyond.
Information panels and telescopes help you pick out landmarks and understand how the city has changed.
Good to know
A visit takes 20–30 minutes. Clear winter days give the sharpest views of the mountains.
